Whether your facility uses raised-floor plenum supply, overhead ducted return, or hot/cold aisle containment — we manufacture the components.

01

Underfloor Air Distribution & Plenum Systems

Raised-floor data centers rely on pressurized underfloor plenums to deliver conditioned air to server racks. We manufacture perforated floor grilles, adjustable airflow tiles, supply air plenums, and damper-controlled floor registers that provide precise CFM delivery to each rack position. Available in galvanized steel with powder-coated or anodized finishes.

Hot Aisle / Cold Aisle Containment

Aisle containment is the most effective way to improve data center PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness). We fabricate custom ceiling return plenums, end-of-row blanking panels, overhead duct runs, and sealed return pathways that prevent hot and cold air mixing. Each project is engineered from your rack layout drawings for precise fit. Our galvanized steel construction with fire-rated finishes meets data center safety standards.

03

Precision Dampers & Airflow Control

Data centers require zone-level airflow control to match cooling delivery to heat load. We manufacture motorized volume control dampers (24V/240V), opposed-blade dampers (OBD), non-return dampers, and BMS-compatible actuators. Our motorized dampers integrate with building management systems for automated airflow balancing — critical for maintaining optimal server inlet temperatures across varying compute loads.

04

Spiral Duct & Metal Fittings

The backbone of any ducted data center cooling system. We fabricate spiral ducts, branch take-offs, reducers, elbows, starting collars, and custom transition fittings in galvanized steel. Spiral duct offers lower air leakage (SMACNA Class 3+) and better pressure performance than rectangular duct — essential for the long duct runs typical in large data halls. Our Houston facility provides local fabrication for fast-track US projects.

Ventilation, Louvers & Exhaust Systems

Data centers need controlled fresh air intake and reliable exhaust pathways. Our weather-proof louvers (full/half chevron), inline exhaust fans, roof cowls, and gravity-operated dampers handle ventilation for generator rooms, UPS rooms, battery storage areas, and economizer-mode free cooling systems. All louvers are engineered for weather resistance with tested water penetration ratings.

High-Growth Segment

Liquid cooling piping for AI & high-density data centers

AI training clusters (NVIDIA GB200, AMD MI300X) generate 50-100 kW per rack — far beyond what air cooling can handle. The data center liquid cooling piping market is growing at 25-33% annually. Airwise supplies the piping infrastructure that connects cooling distribution units (CDUs) to server racks.

Flexible Cooling Hoses & Connectors

Stainless steel braided hoses (316/321 grade) and quick-disconnect connectors for CDU-to-rack liquid cooling loops. Available in sizes from ½" to 4" with rated pressures up to 300 PSI. Our flexible hoses accommodate thermal expansion, vibration isolation, and maintenance access — critical for hot-swappable server rack connections.

Expansion Joints & Vibration Isolators

Metal and rubber expansion joints, seismic loops, and pump isolators that absorb thermal movement and vibration in chilled water and coolant distribution systems. Data center cooling loops experience continuous thermal cycling — expansion joints prevent pipe stress, leaks, and equipment damage. Available in flanged, threaded, and grooved-end configurations.

05 · FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What HVAC components does Airwise supply for data centers?

Airwise manufactures precision air distribution systems for data centers: underfloor plenum supply systems, perforated floor tiles and grilles, hot aisle / cold aisle containment ductwork, precision dampers and motorized volume control dampers, spiral duct systems for chilled water pipe insulation routes, and custom sheet metal fabrication for air handler connections. All products are manufactured to tight tolerances required for data center airflow management.

Do you have a manufacturing facility in the United States?

Yes. Airwise operates a 4,300 sqm (46,000 sqft) facility in Houston, Texas, in addition to our 5,000 sqm headquarters in Dongyang, Zhejiang, China. Our Houston facility handles spiral duct fabrication, custom sheet metal work, and final assembly for North American data center projects. This dual-facility model means we can offer competitive pricing on standard components from China and rapid turnaround on custom fabrication from Houston.

What certifications does Airwise hold for data center HVAC?

Airwise is one of only three Chinese HVAC manufacturers with UL Listing. We also hold CE (Europe), M1 (France — low VOC emission), ROSH, and AWTA (Australia) certifications. For data center applications, we can provide UL Listed components that meet US building codes and insurance requirements — a critical compliance factor that many offshore manufacturers cannot offer.

Can you supply custom ductwork for hot aisle / cold aisle containment?

Yes. Hot aisle and cold aisle containment is one of our specialty applications. We fabricate custom duct runs, blanking panels, ceiling return plenums, and air seal systems to match your containment layout. Our engineering team works from your CAD drawings or rack layout specifications to produce precisely fitted components. Typical lead time is 3-4 weeks for custom containment ductwork.

What is the minimum order for data center HVAC projects?

For standard catalog products (grilles, dampers, spiral duct), our minimum order is one pallet or $2,000 — suitable for single-room or edge data center installations. For custom fabrication projects, there is no minimum order value — we quote on a per-project basis. Most data center projects range from $10,000 to $500,000 depending on facility size and scope.

How do you handle logistics for data center construction timelines?

Data center construction operates on aggressive timelines. From our Houston facility, we deliver within 1-2 weeks for in-stock items and 3-4 weeks for custom fabrication. From our China facility, standard sea freight is 4-5 weeks to US ports, with air freight options (5-7 days) available for urgent requirements. We routinely supply phased deliveries aligned to construction schedules — equipment arrives floor-by-floor as the build progresses.

Do you supply liquid cooling piping and hoses for AI data centers?

Yes. We supply flexible stainless steel cooling hoses (316/321 grade, ½" to 4"), quick-disconnect connectors, expansion joints, and copper chilled water piping for liquid cooling systems. These components connect cooling distribution units (CDUs) to server racks in direct-to-chip and rear-door heat exchanger configurations. As AI data center rack densities reach 50-100 kW, liquid cooling piping is becoming the fastest-growing segment of data center infrastructure — growing at 25-33% annually.

What piping materials are best for data center liquid cooling?

The choice depends on the application. Stainless steel (316L) is preferred for CDU-to-rack flexible hoses and manifolds due to corrosion resistance and pressure performance. Copper (ACR grade) is standard for chilled water distribution and CRAH/CRAC connections because of its heat transfer properties. HDPE is gaining adoption for large-diameter facility cooling loops because it eliminates corrosion and offers fused, leak-free joints. We supply components in all three materials and can advise on the right fit for your cooling architecture.
